Over 15,000 visitors, trend rising: Graz FERIEN trade fair on the upturn!

The FERIEN trade fair has convinced over 15,000 visitors in the last couple of years in the scope of the trade fair foursome and has established itself as the platform for travel and leisure enthusiasts in Southern Austria. The new trade fair combination with "VITAL", "HEIRAT" and for the first time the spectacular "AIR 2011" will appeal to even more visitors.

Holiday vendors for regional and worldwide destinations, tour operators and travel agencies, coach trip operators, Austrian holiday regions, spa regions, tourism associations, hotels and accommodation, wellness and sport hotels, camping equipment, caravans and much more will be on exhibition at the start of January and at the Graz trade fair.

Satisfied visitors at FERIEN 2010

The visitors to the Graz FERIEN trade fair in 2010 gave excellent marks. 82.5% of the trade fair visitors were very satisfied or satisfied. The exhibitors were able to determine a significant upturn in the area of cruises and/or long haul journeys. 11.5% of the people surveyed in 2010 wanted to spend their holiday on a ship [2009: 6.6%] and 33.8% of people surveyed were going on long haul journeys [2009:31.1%]. Additionally there was a significant trend towards holidays in their own country.
